Blue Lagoon Heaven

Saturday, 28 March 2015

In January I had the dreamiest holiday ever where I went to Iceland to try and see the Northern Lights, as well as explore Reykjavik and Iceland in general.
I didn't see the Northern Lights, but I did visit the famous Blue Lagoon at night time and I picked up some products whilst I was there and I have only just got round to using them now... in March

I managed to pick up a kit which had a full selection of some of the beauty products Blue Lagoon offer. The kit even came with a 3-step program which I am going to share with you all.

Step 1. Cleanse
Use cotton pads and rinse your face with Icelandic Formula Cleanser & Toner. Apply Mineral Face Exfoliator to wet skin and rub lightly for about one minute. Rinse off with a damp cloth
Step 2. Boost
Now you have prepared your skin for Silica Mud Mask. Apply it to your face & neck and leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse off. Apply Algae Mask and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse off. For sensitive skin we recommend that you leave the masks on for less than the suggested time.
(They also write that the Silica Mud Mask and the Algae Mask are a miracle duo that smooth, lift and enhance the radiance of the skin)
Step 3. Nourish
Apply Rich Nourishing Cream to your face and neck. If you prefer a lighter texture then we recommend Mineral Moisturising Cream. Apply Anti-Ageing Eye Cream around the eyes. Finish the home spa by applying Algae & Mineral Body Lotion

The best thing about these products? It is all natural, made from minerals and mud that occur naturally within the Blue Lagoon itself! And it is all available online to buy, so I will definitely be stocking up on the Mineral Face Exfoliator once I have run out, and their famous Silica Mud Mask

Have you heard of the Blue Lagoon? Have you been? Would you like to go?
