Royally Good Birchbox

Royally Good
I have had a subscription to Birchbox since they first came over to the UK and I was given a sample box at London Fashion Week. Seeing as my blog is still not even a month old I have obviously never blogged about Birchbox before, only ever Instagrammed. Now, as blog readers, you can peek inside my April 'Royally Good' Birchbox and hear what I think about it!

I have subscribed to Birchbox for quite a while now that I keep loving and hating it (Sorry to say that Birchbox babes!). I find myself with an array of samples that I haven't used, won't use, aren't 'me' or that I simply do not like, and I feel like it has been a while since I have had a truly useful and life changing box.

Then comes the Royally Good Birchbox!
April is also my birth month so I feel like I am extra lucky

I know it is named Royally Good due to royal baby fever again. But this box IS also Royally Good. Just take a look for yourself below.

This month was another "pick a sample" month and the choice was between 3 Laura Mercier products. Straight away, such an amazing brand to have included! I straight away chose the foundation primer as my pick because this is THE best primer I have ever used underneath my foundation. It controls my combination skin and keeps my foundation from melting away when I am having a stressful day. Seriously I can not sing this product's praises enough. It is glorious!

To go alongside Laura Mercier I was also given the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish hot cloth to try. I have heard such wonders about this and how this item is also a skincare staple and I simply can not wait to give it a go and potentially purchase a full sized product (which I know I will most likely end up doing).

You then get given a Birchbox exclusive in the form of Lola Barcelona nail polish. There is a selection of 3 that you could end up with and I got a rather nice nude shade named Born. I don't normally like nail polish as I always mess it up and I have a gel nail kit for my DIY mani's, however this shade is absolutely divine looking that I may have to give it a go and pray I don't smudge my nails before they dry.

Every month, there always seems to be a Korres item in the boxes. It is starting to bore me a little bit as the same brands keep getting recycled. However the other brands in this month's box definitely make up for this as I have never heard of Befine before, I have always wanted to try Liz Earle, I LOVE the Laura Mercier primer and I have heard good things about Percy & Reed London.

The 3 items pictured above are the 3 I am most excited by in my Birchbox this month!
I love using hair oils to tame my, sometimes frizzy and wild, fine hair but sometimes oils can leave my hair looking and feeling greasy. It is hard to get the amount of product right when an oil just slips out of its bottle. However the fact this Percy & Reed London oil is called "No Oil Oil" it has intrigued me and I can't wait to give it a go in the morning.

Do you subscribe to Birchbox? Do you think these samples are Royally Good?
