July Birchbox turned Birchbag

BirchbagI have been a lover of Birchbox for quite a while, but I dip in and out of subscribing and un-subscribing because I end up completely overwhelmed with products and samples
When I saw that July's box was a BirchBAG rather than a BirchBOX I absolutely needed one in my life! I am a sucker for bags and anything cute

BirchbagIf you haven't heard of Birchbox by now, Birchbox is a subscription box where you end up getting some really good beauty products to sample within that month. Each box normally has a theme and this month's box is all about holidays and each bag is inspired by certain fashion editor's favourite holiday destinations

There were 4 bags available. Yellow, Orange, Pink and Blue. I won't lie, I hate the colour yellow and would have loved the blue or pink bag so I wish we could have picked the colour of our bag, but I actually love the contents of my bag and I will be using them so much for my holidays. The yellow bag was chosen by Rose Beer who is the beauty editor at Grazia, as it reminds her of her favourite holiday destination which is Somerset
Inside my box - Sorry, I mean bag - was
- Pop Beauty's eyeshadow trio in 'Peach Parfait'
- Benefit Dream Screen sunscreen for face
- Barely's Prep, Blot & Blend
- Balance Me congested skin serum
- Cowshed's cow pat hand cream
- Unani's Aloe Vera Gel

I am not normally one for eyeshadow, but actually this will be a perfect addition to my makeup bag for when I attend a wedding in Italy. Saves me taking my whole Naked palette away with me.

The Aloe Vera Gel will also be amazing if I get burnt - touch wood I don't - but I should be fine as I now have Benefit's Dream Screen for my face! No more burnt nose in the sun
I already own a few blenty blenders so I have no need for Barely's sponge, but as it is smaller I may just take it away with me to help achieve an airbrushed face for this wedding

I have started to use the congested skin serum already, but even though the tube is a decent size, I am disappointed by how little product it actually feels like there is inside! Especially as this kind of product is one I need as I have problematic areas on my face

Overall these items will come in so handy for my holiday, and this wedding, in Italy in August and I can't wait to put the bag into good use by the infinity pool

Do you subscribe to Birchbox? What do you think of this bag rather than a box?
