Urban Decay

NakedUrban Decay is a brand that is known and loved by many beauty bloggers. Mainly for their Naked palettes of which I only own one and don't really use. I am sorry for this beauty blasphemy!

It is also a brand I have never really had within my beauty arsenal, so I decided to rectify this situation and buy a few coveted products to try out

The Naked range is the well known range. Spanning their Naked eyeshadow palettes as well as now foundation and this concealer that I have picked up. People have compared it to Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, and seeing as that is my current concealer fave I thought I would try out Urban Decay's as a comparison because it is cheaper

Not going to lie, I do prefer Nars one still. Whilst the Urban Decay one is pale enough for me (I have paler skin than I think I do) and is also great under the eyes as a highlight, it looks dry on my skin and not as luminous and flawless as the Nars. Looks great over foundation, but I can't wear it alone on those days that I just CBA! BUT it is definitely a very good concealer and I am not trying to say it isn't. It just doesn't work as well for me due to my oily/combination skin

One way I try and tackle my oily skin issue is with an Urban Decay product I have trialled before and that I needed to repurchase. Their De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray. I swear by this product, and even in an insanely hot country with full makeup on, none of my makeup moved an inch all throughout a wedding until I took it off that evening to go to bed

I bought a box of 2 travel sized ones for £13! I consider that a bargain when a massive bottle of spray is £20-ish, and the travel size is more portable and can be easily carried for top ups throughout the day or for a quick spritz just to cool down

When spraying, it can make mascara run slightly so be careful if you aren't using a waterproof mascara

Do you use any Urban Decay products?

  1. I totally swear by the UD All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. Never without a can! Tx

  2. I'm not a huge fan of UD make up I have to admit! But I do like the sound of make up setting spray as I have quite oily skin, I'll have to try it out. I'd definitely agree with you about the NARS primer :)
