As promised within my Orlando photo diary, this is the photo diary of all the snaps I took on my iPhone when in Orlando, Florida
I kinda failed in that I didn't take many images on my actual camera. Too much living in the moment I guess! But hopefully my phone snaps help fill in some gaps and tell a visual story of what I got up to
What do you do on your first day in Orlando when you wake up at like 5am due to them being 5 hours behind the UK? Well, you go to your closest 24 hour IHOP of course and consume a LOT of pancakes and Mountain Dew!
Disney was full of selfies (I cut it down to the cutest one where we found a Star Wars section in a gift shop and tried a few hats on and played around with lightsabers, otherwise this post would just get FULL of selfies too quickly)
Springfield in Universal Studios was SO colourful and really felt like a happy place. Or maybe that's just because I bought a donut from Lard Lad that was legit the size of my head. Yes, I chowed down on that bad boy and loved every second of it also
THESE are the pictures that mean the most to me. The guy in them, I haven't seen in like forever. He used to be my best friend back in Primary school. He lived over the road from me, our parents were friends, that kind of childhood friendship. He had to move to America when he was a kid. We still stay in touch and he comes to see me when he is in the UK. This guy though, he drove 3 hours to Orlando (he lives in Fort Lauderdale in Florida) to come spend the weekend with me
We played some 'PuttPutt' as he called it. We went to Pirate's Cove and did a round of mini golf. I still swear that Pirate's Cove is some of the best mini golf EVER
I do love shop fronts in the USA. This was a giant helmet outside of a sports shop. Annoyingly though, the doors inside of it were locked with a sign saying "please use other door". Well, what's the point of that?! I wanted to walk through the helmet :(
Have you ever been to Orlando?
