You know when sometimes you just get so busy and life gets in the way massively? That is how I feel with this post. BBQ weather has really been and gone, but I got so busy that I am only able to get this post up now for you to see *eek bad Kaye*
Branston held a BBQ event at the London Barbecue School in Peckham, and I was hired as the photographer for the event! As always, I like to show off my images and give you a taste (punny because it is a food based post) in to the events and my photography. These are events for bloggers after all so one day I may even end up snapping you!
Like I mentioned, this event was based in Peckham in some really amazingly well designed industrial units. Not gonna lie, but I love the Peckham neon sign and that was definitely a big feature of the night! Everybody loves a bit of neon right now and I sure am a sucker for it
It was photographed by everybody, including myself
We got super lucky with the weather also. Seeing as it is a BBQ event it was obviously out in the open with these amazing ceramic BBQ's
They definitely were the real deal compared to the £5 disposable BBQ's that I often use and I dread to think how much something like this would cost. Definitely an investment piece and something I would cook on every day through rain or shine
A unit off to the side was full of all the fresh ingredients that could be used for the BBQ recipes that had been chosen, as well as all of the Branston condiments to compliment these recipes (or mix and match if you wanted to!)
There was burgers, mushroom caps to make mushroom burgers amongst English muffins, chicken tex mex tacos, brisket wraps and so many more recipes to choose from. Branston pickle was also being used as part of marinades and not just a topping! There are many more ways you can use Branston than just as toppings for things
The bloggers were given free reign on what they could make and then consume. Most people ended up cooking every recipe actually because they were so quick and easy to cook, and even quicker and easier to eat! Now that is my kind of event
It was actually torture walking around photographing everything and watching everybody eat. Sometimes photographers have a hard life!
Now just sit back, relax, and let your mouth water at all of the pictures of food that are going to grace your screens!
Your mind may also start to wander and want Summer back ASAP so you can bust out the BBQ and get a bit fancier and deviate from the typical burgers and sausages that always get cooked/charred
