Tarot Readings - a unique gift

Tarot Reading
This won't be everyone's cup of tea, trust me I know because I have dealt with it most of my life as I am very much into the mystical and the occult and anything a bit 'quirky', but have you ever considered a tarot reading as a gift for someone?

No, I never had either, and I actually quite often read tarot cards myself as a little help to clear my mind on days I may really need some clarity. Nothing beats getting your cards read by somebody else though, especially someone who has been into the craft a lot longer than you and may know more!
I recently had my cards read by Tarot Slut as a unique and quirky Christmas gift idea, and I was so impressed by her work that I actually decided to write this stand alone blog post, rather than put her into a Christmas gift guide

Day Date: Gods Own Junkyard

Gods Own Junkyard is just one of those places that I NEED to rave about. I have been wanting to go here for such a long time, I don't even remember how I first heard about it

Neon and neon art seems to be having a major revival at the moment, and this place is just absolutely full to the brim of wares for you to explore. It also has a little cafe so you can sit back, relax, and revel in all of the colours surrounding you

Double Oaked & Smoked: London Cocktail Week

London Cocktail Week has been and gone for another year. A massive get together of brands we all know and love within Old Spitalfields Market to celebrate alcohol and the wonderfully creative concoctions that cocktails can be

I was invited by Jim Beam to come down and experience the event for one evening, and I'm not just saying it because they invited me, but Jim Beam was definitely a highlight of the cocktail week for me! I mean, when you pair cocktails with food it is going to be a sure fire winner with me

Joan Collins Timeless Beauty: Autumn New-ness

Joan Collins Ten Effects Skin Treat
I am completely loyal to my Urban Decay De-Slick makeup setting spray, but sometimes something comes along that piques your interest and you just gotta forgo your usual routine and try something new

That is exactly what has happened with the brand new for Autumn Joan Collins Ten Effects Skin Treat and Make-Up Fixer. By the way, yes, THE glamourpuss Joan Collins. That is exactly why I knew I had to try this. She's an icon!

The Snug. Aylesbury

I live in Watford, but regularly go out in St Albans as that is where all my friends seem to live. We have a bar in St Albans called "The Snug" which does amazing cocktail deals and good food. Well, The Snug has now come to Aylesbury and I had the chance to pop along and review it

I did get lost finding it, but I think that is just because I don't know Aylesbury at all considering I live so close to it

This is also one of two Snug bars to offer pizza. I was definitely excited! Pizza is life after all

#OOTD: Kanye Loves Kanye

OOTD: Kanye
Yep. I have decided to do my first ever OOTD post. I don't know why seeing as I have never done it before. I was feeling my look on this day I guess and it gives me a perfect reason to shout about my shirt!

Who wouldn't want to shout about their shirt when they spent £75 on it from the Life of Pablo pop up that happened in Shoreditch earlier this year? It was also the perfect opportunity to shoot some pictures at OnRoundhay festival as the weather was so glorious!

A Very Lush Winter

Lush Winter Range 2016
You know that feeling of having to pinch yourself to see if you are dreaming? That is exactly how I felt when an invite from Lush headed into my email inbox inviting me to a preview of their Winter 2016 range!
I don't know anybody who doesn't love Lush, and to see items before they go on sale? eek! This would be the best event ever. I was due to be in Birmingham that day so I had to make sure I had enough time to head to Lush's Victoria Station store for the preview

Luckily I made it, and ohmygoodness what wonderful treats are in store for Winter!

Arconic Hairbrush

Arconic Hairbrush
Arconic is a new kind of brush available out there. Created by John Gillespie, the Arconic brush is a curved paddle brush. Yep, you heard that right, it is curved rather than flat!

We all know of paddle brushes, those large brushes we tend to use when blow drying and brushing/detangling long hair but this one is revolutionary and may change how you brush/blow dry your hair

Chi Kitchen Afternoon Tea

Asian Afternoon Tea
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to have been invited to review Chi Kitchen's menu. Chi Kitchen is a restaurant inside of Debenhams in Birmingham (and Oxford St, but I went to the Birmingham one) and ohmygod I fell in love with their food and just yum om nom nom

I'm a very lucky girl indeed because they invited me back to try their new afternoon tea menu! Yes, afternoon tea! In an Asian fusion restaurant. The British tradition has been asian infused and it's oh so exciting

OnRoundhay festival

OnRoundhay Festival
Well, that's it people. Summer is officially over which also means the UK festival season is pretty much dead now until 2017

My last festival was mid September, up in Leeds at Roundhay park. The weather was as if Summer was still going strong! Yet 4 hours away in my hometown there was a massive storm going on and grey and general miserable-ness. I definitely didn't feel like this would be my last festival of the year

I introduce you to OnRoundhay festival! A brand new family festival held at Roundhay park

Birthday Ideas for Mamma KLF

It's my Mamma's birthday in October, and I always struggle with what to get my mother. I don't know why, I just find it so hard to find something worthy. Only the best for my mamma of course!

Do you all have the same issue?!

I have decided to write up a gift list of some of the stuff I know my mother has loved in the past as inspo for you all. Maybe it'll even give me inspo for this month! She writes the smallest wish lists so it's time for a bit of creativity on my part
