NEW // Defences

I don't just photograph fashion bloggers. I photograph people in general. I love taking portraits and capturing people within moments. Documenting and capturing candid moments. I think this stems from the fact I used to document London Fashion Week runways and backstage moments, and that documentation shows a moment in time that you can never get back again

So yeah as well as photographing all you Fbloggers out there, I also photograph people and moments. I have a few friends in bands, and one of them asked me to photograph their band and some behind the scenes of a new music video shoot of theirs

As always, a very picture heavy post because I never know how many to show off and I end up falling in love with quite a few different images and I want to show them all off. It's good to feel proud of something you have worked on

Especially when a shoot like this takes up a whole day and doesn't finish until the early hours of the morning

As you can see it was shot in a warehouse and the only light we used were these cheap LED strips the band had obtained. They could also change colour if we wanted them too

I am a master at shooting with LED light. It is what I am known for within the photography industry. For using LED over flashes (that's not to say that I don't use flash). I prefer working with LED as you can see where the light falls and make quick adjustments a lot easier. I also don't mean to sound really full of myself within that paragraph

I was asked to document the video shoot taking place, as well as then shoot portraits of the band together and the members individually. Every band needs new promo shots every once in a while for marketing and promotion purposes and these ones would fit in with the new song and the new music video that was shot as it was all within the same area, using the same gear

Behind the scenes are always fun too as you can document any moment you see fit. Anything fun or interesting helps create a story for the whole world to see what happens as it isn't every day people get to take park in a music video shoot

  2. There are some great captures in here. It's good to know that you don't only shoot in one particular style.
